For our website we don’t personally take photos for our wines. But when you get a fancy bottle like this in the store, well…you have to break out the camera to capture all its luxurious glory! Only two available, here.

@DryDrew Twittered (rather, Tweeted) this video of himself making wine in Long Island. If you have never seen or are unfamiliar with how wine is made, his videos basically document a scaled-down, homemade version of wine making that is commonly referred to as, “garage wine making.” This is the real thing but on a smaller scale.

A few things I’d like to note:

1. It’s absolutely noble and intriguing that Drew is documenting his wine making process to, as he writes on his blog, “to educate the Kosher consumer to making proper choices of wine.” I offer him all my support.
2. This ability to share a passion about wine has been elevated to a new level of connectivity and sharing with the use of social media technology, like Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr — all things I support.

We live in a wonder era of technology and hyper-connectivity. Nevertheless it’s comforting to know that in some small corner, wine proves that it can remain elemental and liberated from emerging technologies. @DryDrew efforts epitomizes the craft of winemaking.

Simply, we grow grapes. Yeast convert sugars to alcohol. And we share.  Enjoy.
